Islamic New Year marks the beginning of the Islamic lunar calendar. This year it is expected to fall on Sunday July 7. It’s uncertain whether there will be a public holiday on a regular workday following.
Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) Birthday is a significant Islamic holiday celebrated to honour the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It’s expected to fall on Sunday September 15.
UAE National Day commemorates the unification of the Emirates and the establishment of the United Arab Emirates on 2nd December 1971. It’s a joyous occasion marked by various festivities, including parades, fireworks, and cultural events, celebrating the country’s heritage and progress. In 2024, UAE National Day will fall on Sunday December 1, meaning you can expect a public holiday on Monday December 2 and Tuesday December 3.
